Quick setup — in plain language

  Unbox & inspect

  Unpack your device. Make sure the seal and packaging look intact. If you see anything tampered with, stop and contact official support before continuing.

  Connect to a trusted computer

  Use the cable provided. Only connect to a computer you trust — public or unfamiliar devices may be compromised. Open the official setup URL when prompted.

  Create a new wallet

  Follow the device prompts to generate a new wallet. During this step the device produces a recovery phrase — never share it with anyone or store it digitally.

  Write down the recovery phrase

  Write the words on the provided card or a physical medium. Keep them in a safe, offline location. Consider using a steel backup for long-term durability.

  Set a PIN and verify

  Create a PIN you can remember but others won’t guess. Confirm it on the device screen, not via the host computer, to avoid keylogger risks.

  Confirm everything on the device

  Important confirmations should always appear on the hardware device’s screen — that’s the secure display. When in doubt, trust the device screen over the computer.

Before using your wallet for real funds: verify firmware authenticity, keep your recovery offline, keep the device physically secure, and only use official apps and links.

• Never share your recovery phrase.
• Do not enter the recovery phrase into a computer or phone.
• Only download tools or apps from official sources.
• Consider using additional PIN/passphrase protection for extra security.
